FAQs

How do I see what is in each course?

Clicking on a bite-sized tile will show you the topics in the bite-size course and the length of each video. Also on that page is the price and the buy now button.

For the full courses the first click will show you the topics covered in the course. Click the tile you're interested in and it will show the videos in that module and the length of each video (in brackets at the end of each title).

Are the online videos suitable for a beginner or someone with experience?

These videos are suitable for all levels of skill and ability and have been developed to suit all levels of learning, from beginners to those with experience. If you're a shearer new to the handpiece, or you can shear over 300 a day, there's always something you can learn that will help you to move and work better in the sheds.

For a wool handler or presser, as well as learning to work efficiently, and effectively, you'll also learn why your roles are important.

Will I be able to understand and learn from the videos if I have never worked in a wool shed before?

If you have never worked in a wool shed before, but are keen to get started, there's lots to learn and understand before you get started on the job. Of course, watching how to do something can never replace practical experience on the job, but these videos will certainly give you a good start. What's also good is that once you've worked in a shed, you can then go back and watch the videos again to refresh your memory.
